Every RV made today uses both 120-volt power and 12-volt power. The 120-volt power is usually provided by the electrical pedestal at your chosen campground, or through a generator. This power source operates your appliances and air conditioning. Your 12-volt power is produced by your RV’s batteries, and provides the juice needed to operate your appliances, run your hydraulic jacks and slides, the motor to your water pump, and your internal lights.
